Tried & Tested : Seraphine Nursing Shawl
When Seraphine got in touch and allowed our tester to choose an item from their website, she immediately requested the Seraphine Nursing Shawl. I don’t blame her. It’s simple, it’s sophisticated, it can be dressed up and down, and it’s functional.
Wraps like these are perfect during and post pregnancy – it will help keep you warm and give you some privacy if breast feeding, it’s very generously cut too. This shawl is a super soft bamboo viscose blend and drapes beautifully over the shoulders.
I have loved this shawl and have found it very versatile. It’s become a must grab item for me, and as I got bigger, I found myself teaming it up with pretty much every outfit I had. The poppers make it fall perfectly, but I also wore it in other ways too. Now I have my little bundle of joy, it’s the most perfect breastfeeding cover. I don’t feel too mumsy and I’m not showing my tummy – which is a big thing for me. I will be wearing this long after I have finished feeding. I love it.
The other great thing about this item is that it’s great for layering, and like our tester said, perfect post pregnancy. And do note, you can wear it as a scarf too. We like that.
This nursing shawl is free size (one size fits all) and a blend of bamboo, cotton and wool. It will cost you £42. The only downside is it’s hand wash but that may be a personal thing, as I hate hand washing and would actually just put it in the machine on a 30 (sssshhh!).
