We have not mentioned Hire Expectations on here for over a year, which is odd because I recommend them to my friends all the time. If you’re looking to hire a maternity dress, perhaps for a special occasion, you should head here first! It’s such a simple process, you choose a dress and then decide if you want it for 5 or 10 days and it will be delivered to you on your specified date. Once you’re done with the dress, you send it back (you don’t even need to wash the dress!), and pop it to the Post Office. Seriously, that easy.
The dresses start from £25 for 5 days hire, but most of the gowns suitable for weddings, balls and the like are around the £50 mark for the same period of time. I’ve not yet got anything in the diary from now until my due date which will require something a little bit special, but if I do, I shall be borrowing either the Butter by Nadia’s Miss Cast Iron Kitty dress (£43, RRP £254) or the Keungzai Maternity drape dress (£38, RRP £185). And if the husband gets round to taking me to the summer ball I shall be back to look at those floor length lovelies….
