Alyson Hannigan, she of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, American Pie films and How I Met Your Mother opted for the classic LBD look for her appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on the 4th April.

She opted for a classic midi ruched dress, waistcoat, polka-dot tights and black peep toe shoes and looked glowing. You can get the dress from Isabella Oliver for £105. Don’t worry about the need for a maternity waistcoat if you;re not planning on doing it up!

After annoucing she is pregnant with her third child, actress Uma Thurman has stepped out wearing this fitted navy number and some flat boots in New York. Although I can’t locate where her dress is from, I can tell you there are a few similar out there if you’re loving that look.

Crave Maternity have a blue drap front jumper dress for £82.

ASOS Maternity have a shorter maternity dress of a similar style on sale for £20. Limited sizes left though.

Isabella Oliver have a couple of ruched dresses that fit the bill, the t-shirt dress is £99 and the ruched mini dress for £105.

Kim Kardashian and Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio both posed with together as they cradled their burgeoning bumps at Elton John’s Oscar Party.

The 30-year-old Brazilian model covered up her baby bump in a blush one shoulder gown and with minimal accessories looked gorgeous.  The dress was Roberto Cavalli, shoes and bag Salvatore Ferragamo and jewels by Martin Kat .

Spotted and totally papped, Sienna Miller and her bump did the rounds in this salmon pink combo, wintered up with some black maternity tights and simple court shoes. The result is a sophisticated look – which is what you would expect with a Diane von Furstenberg dress.

Lace has become very popular, and I thank Kate Middleton for that – what with her wedding dress and her War Horse premier outfit. Sienna is wearing it well!

If you’d like a little lace number Tiffany Rose has a beautiful collection, with prices starting at £149. If you’re looking for a cheaper option, ASOS has a collection which starts at £25.

Peaches Geldof kept it simple at the Alice Temperley show at London Fashion week. A simple white maxi dress with with minimal accessories. But we can’t but help notice those pink shoes and black tights - not sure what that’s about, but if it works for her, who are we to knock her?

She wore non maternity outfits which clearly worked for her bump.

Jealous? Me. Never.

First up is the Grace Dress from Tiffany Rose. Cute and just £140. They also have a lovely strapless dress called Oyster, which is also available in black. ASOS Maternity have a very nice knee length floral lace maternity dress with a boat neckline, a slim pencil cut, short styling with a scalloped hem, and semi-sheer fitted cropped sleeves for just £45 and Bumps Maternity have a rather lovely 1920s inspired little black party dress worthy of any wannabe red carpet goer. It’s on sale too, for £37. Click click. Not pictured is a full length black dress for £70 from Does My Tum Look Big In This. I fear the image does not do this dress justice though!

So ladies, if you’re planning on walking the red carpet soon, perhaps one of these will make you look as lovely as the Duchess of Cambridge! And we’re still hunting for some floor length dresses for you. If you spot one, do let us know.

Now how can you not think Jessica Simpson is looking great during her pregnancy. She’s rocking that bump and is definitely nailing the fabled glow! Her look has been very comfortable in it’s approached but teamed with some cool shades, heavy knits and that leather jacket she’s pulling it off!

If you’re liking the look, how about grabbing a Noppies long sleeved top from Global Maternity (£32.99) or perhaps a basic boyfriend t shirt from ASOS (£9.99). Team it with either the Windsmoor Caramel waterfall cardigan from House of Fraser (on sale – was £89, now £39) or a rock chick leather jacket. I would go for a non-maternity one – perhaps something like the Dalmatian panel faux fur biker leather from Topshop (£185) or the ASOS Leather Biker with Leopard Print Pony Panel.

That Topshop one has also been spotted on Tulisa, her of Ndubz / Xfactor fame – but don’t let that put you off! Both animal printed items are bang on trend, so a great addition to your wardrobe – something that you can team with anything. And of course, glossy hair and shades are a must.

The lace dress is a perfect fit, the old school glamour ‘do and red lips look fabulous and I am just loving those shoes. The pop of red make the outfit just a little more fun and a little more age appropriate. No idea where the dress is from though, can’t find a mention of it’s designer anywhere …. and I also have no idea what that random pirate is all about in the background!

I have just spotted the beautiful Hilary Duff looking fabulous and effortlessly styled over at Celebrity Baby Scoop. Her simple combo black maxi dress and denim shirt with some over-sized accessories looks great.

You can get your own black maxi dress over at ASOS maternity for £40 (note this is a long sleeved one as it’s a bit chillier over here in the UK!) and a shirt from Mamas & Papas. It’s currently on sale for £16, but I think the worn look of the one on Simply Be would look good too.
