Trend Alert – Nautical

Nautical has been trending for a while now, but it’s only recently I am seeing it merging in the maternity collections.

I am liking Topshops stripy tunic (£35) and their contrast shrug (£28). I am also loving the detail of this ASOS dress (£28) -the golden coloured buttons really add to that nautical feel. I’ve also seen this ASOS dress on Danielle Lloyd, it looked good. Very good. I’ll try and find a picture. Seraphine have a little nautical top in, which is okay and only £20. On the swimwear front Isis Maternity have the Mama Beach Bikini in a bold red on sale for £46. I like. It’s also available in blue, but to be honest, I’m not too keen. And of course, there are loads of other striped tops out there.

So all you need to do next, is throw together some accessories to bring your look together. And if you’re looking for a little bit of cheap and cheerful, check our River Island. All their nautical bits are on sale.
