Make it like Megan

Jan 06, 2010 4 Comments by

In our quest to bring you the best bump wear, we stumbled across a self titled site from Megan Nielsen. Megan describes herself as: fashion designer, aussie girl,  sentimental fool, young mommy and secret nerd. Something for everyone!

And you know what, she has posted on her site how to make this fabulous wrap cardigan.

Megan provides very simple instructions. All you need is 2 yards of stretchy jersey knit that does not fray (like a 4 way stretch). It’s important that it doesn’t fray as the tutorial is for a cardigan with unfinished hems.

This tutorial is based on her own body measurements, so she suggests you find a sweater from your wardrobe with which you are happy with the fit and compare the sleeve and back measurements to the pattern measurements, you can then make adjustments to the pattern according to your preferred fit.

And incase you’re wondering what else Megan is wearing, it is a Mimco headband, witchery lace tank, motherhood maternity mini skirt, sweater tights from TJ Maxx, Steve madden riding boots and a thrifted belt.

We’re impressed.
